Your favorite PSD import addon has evolved! I'm excited to introduce YA Art Bridge—a powerful tool that makes transferring your 2D art into Blender a seamless experience. This isn't just an update; it's a complete relaunch with a new philosophy and incredible new features.

What's New in Version 5.2?

• Multi-Format Support: It's no longer just a PSD importer. The addon has evolved into a universal bridge, now supporting PSD, SVG, TIFF, PNG, JPG, and more!
• Multi-File Workflow: Load and manage multiple files at once, right in the same panel. Mix and match layers from different sources in a single project.
• No More Freezing: Thanks to a new asynchronous loader, Blender remains fully responsive even when importing large and complex files. You can also cancel the process at any time by pressing Esc.
• New Name — YA Art Bridge: The name reflects the addon's new purpose—to be a reliable bridge between your favorite 2D editors and Blender.
• Enhanced Stability: The internal architecture has been completely rewritten for maximum reliability and performance.

A Deeper Look at the Key Changes:

1. A Bridge to Your Favorite Editors

You're no longer limited to just Photoshop. Working with vector graphics in Illustrator or Inkscape? Save as SVG and bring it right into Blender. Creating complex compositions in Krita or Affinity Photo? The addon will handle your PSD and TIFF files with ease. Need to quickly add textures or references? Just load in your PNGs or JPGs.

2. A Smooth and Uninterrupted Process

Previously, loading a large PSD file could cause Blender to freeze for a few seconds, or even minutes. Forget about that! The new loader works in the background, showing a progress bar and letting you continue your work or cancel the operation if you change your mind.

3. A Flexible Workflow

Imagine being able to load a main PSD file with a character, a separate SVG file with a logo, and several PNG textures—all in one panel. Select the layers you need from each file and import them all together with a single click. This drastically speeds up the creation of complex scenes.

4. Under-the-Hood Reliability

A lot of effort has gone into improving stability. The new version uses more modern and robust Blender API methods for creating objects and managing collections. This means fewer errors and a more predictable result.

Installation: Simply install the new psd2blndr52r.py file like any other Blender addon. It will automatically replace the previous version.
